nah dude, that miata will NEVER flip. Did you see how wide it was with those flares, and how low it was with those coilovers? Impossibru to flip it while sliding sideways like a moron into a sandtrap.

It's interesting you should compare MT to a church, cuz there is a VERY striking resemblance when it comes to the mentality of the two. Everyone blindly follows views that don't necessarily make any sense, but everyone else is doing the same thing, so I guess you've also got to (mandatory 6ULs, must be painted a certain way, nut-riding the people with power in hope they'll favor you and you get personal gain from it, etc.), and the second someone does anything that's even slightly different from the current trend they're instantly possessed by Satan (or any other evil religious figure) and should suffer an an eternal life of suffering.

How is attaching it to a style bar any different than attaching it to the HardDog bolt-in harness bar? link

Are you insinuating that the quality of construction of the Ebay style bar is equal to that of Bethania Garage's workmanship?

Are you also insinuating that you feel that a style bar is the same thing as a harness bar?

How is it at all the same? I have NEVER pushed a stereotype and said that everyone should flare out their car, put on some rims with a ton of lip, and drive it with no traction. Is that how my car is? Yeah, sometimes... other times I have it set up for as much traction as I can get and do autocross/mountain runs. I do whatever I enjoy doing, and build my car in a way that I will enjoy it, and I encourage everyone else to do the same regardless of what it is that they consider fun.

We passed that point a long time ago.

So IBTB or some such.

It's very much like that. What I find interesting is that you are smart enough to recognize it, yet still insist that we are the ******** here. More Church metaphor; you are the guy who walks in, attempts to make everyone conform and accept his views, and then wonders why everyone thinks he's an *******.

Once again if you don't like it, leave. Drifting is not popular here for the most part, and your videos above highlight exactly why. No regard for safety, shitty-built cars, and the attitude that comes along with it.

There are other sites that will much better suit your acceptance needs.

I'm not insinuating anything. They're both bars that are made of steel and bolt onto the car. The only time having the harness connected to a style bar would be different than the harness bar is if you somehow manage to bend the harness bar and it loosens up the harness (or tightens depending on which way it bends). The only way I can see someone achieving that is if you roll it, and obviously you're running into a different problem at that point... as far as harness mounting, there's not really any difference.

You metaphor isn't correct at all though... I'm the guy that walks into a church wearing some torn up jeans and a t-shirt because that's what I have available and still want to attend church even though I don't own a suit. I mind my own business but am ridiculed and told to leave the church immediately because I don't fit in.

The shocker here, is that we are surprisingly tolerant even of drifting, as long as its not done in an absolute terrible way like OP and his boyfriends do.

But OP will never realize that.

To him we'll always just be "hataz"

 no. See previous thread I linked.

You are the guy that walks into a church, says ridiculous crap, then starts crying about it when he gets called out on it.

See: roll bar == style bar.

Pretty much this. MT is highly intolerant of retarded ****, but there are a few drifters on here that are highly respected.

Do it well, MT gives you respect. Belong on CR (Which you do, OP), and MT ridicules you.

No, you walked in wearing a hijab and a bomb. Maybe it wasn't you're intent, but it's what you did. You brought the drifting bullshit in here, and got butthurt when we rejected it.
