Theyre just hardparkers.
Racing isnt important to them, but owning a wildly overbuilt racecar is very important.

My favorite thing about speedhunters is all these builds that have no place in the world. Filled with legitimate racecar technology, or at least the appearance of such, but not to within the rules of any known racing class. Theyre pretty much just useless track-day cars that are probably not even that fast because they were not optimized and are driven by retards.

It would be like putting 30 grand into a miata. Fully built engine, big turbo, baller coilovers, the works. Then going and running slower lap times than regional level spec miatas.
