Trust me. If you lived where it snows/rains for 3/4 of the year you would yearn for that SoCal weather. I know I do. After going on a road trip to Cali a few weeks ago, top down most of the way only to come back to this ****.

I can't wait for summer.

 

We got hammered in Connecticut this year with snow and there was only one time I was scared to drive around.

To be honest with a capable snow tire the car had no problems navigating the roads. Ice was a different story however. No car can handle the ice.

Now if I was able to drive around on roads like in the video, I would be able to have lots of fun like them. However, the only way for me to have safe fun (without other drivers) was to pull into an empty parking lot and drive around.

Although snow driving is fun for me - I am counting down the days until Spring, and am looking forward to swapping on summer tires and being able to drop the top every day.

Be glad your car doesn't get subjected to the road salt they dump all over the roads here. It's no fun to replace / patch rocker panels.
