Took a weekend trip up from Italy to the Nurburgring. All I can say is this was one of the most amazing places I have ever been involving motorsport. The environment, camaraderie and overall emotion of the place was like nothing I have ever experienced.

Here is a vid of one lap around the 'Ring, in a very disappointing rental Mercedes. Next summer a drive in the VLN Endurance series with a local BMW team is in the works, let's hope that pans out! For those Top Gear fans, there's a little reference to host Jeremy Clarkson's trouble at achieving a sub 10 minute lap during an old episode ha.
