what is max rpm?

I'll only need a rollbar if I intend to flip it over. I'm not ready to do that yet.

He's got the limiter set to 8500 for break-in, moving to ~10k after he gets the dyno time to get a tune on it. He'd just put a new ECU on it when he did the rebuild and only has a basic tune.
It runs pretty well for as much time as was spent on the road tuning (about 40 minutes(I was there)). He isn't running the boost controller yet, either. I can hear the wastegates bleeding constantly when he's in boost, so I suppose the crispness of the acceleration will be even more dramatic once the controller is active.
Being into musclecars as well, I'm amazed at the revs you can get out of that engine with about a 2.75 inch stroke. My Pontiac has a 4.21 inch stroke and doesn't like the topside of 5K, but makes over 500 ft/lbs at 2250 rpm. I guess that is your trade-off. Frankly, I'd actually rather rev high. It's more fun.

Can't claim credit for the pics. Someone else at the event took them.
I'm still collecting info and parts. I don't want to buy the wrong parts so I'm taking it slow with that and reading a lot. I also am in the middle of other ongoing projects. Can't do it all at once.
