lol @ 27. Had to have been a joke. Good to see there are more of the "turbos and aero" crowd this year. It was kinda funny last year, the powers that be didn't really understand the whole going fast thing.

Is that a partially obscured KraftWerks logo on the rear quarter? It looks like 'Miata Challenge' on the windsheild...

That one is mine. 350 whp Rotrex S/C, more fun than can be measured by modern science. Search on m.net for DIY Rotrex for the ugly details (Droid phone link post fail).

Btw, are you turning that Rotrex to its redline now or do you have more blower rpm headroom for extra boost some day?

Good god the aero scene is getting crazy. Some cars are actually starting to make it look good though, thats for sure.

I am probably the slowest guy in group A, i was doing solid 1:44s all day, i think the other guys were under 1:40

Im not sure about the functionality compared to the rest with no data, but i prefer the looks of it. :)

Still at redline. No reason not to - the faster you turn it, the earlier useful boost shows up. If you want to cap the power a flow restriction of some sort seems to work.

All of my power gains have been flow related - better intake manifold (25whp), 99 head with some porting and +1mm valves (another 25), big, cheap ebay intercooler (another 1.5 psi of essentially free boost and another 25 hp).

The next step is 949's magic header and exhaust. I'm shooting for more power band now...
