Well technically Miata numero uno for me alone but whatever. Some of you may know that my stepdad and I are doing an NA build. Well I caught the fever and just had to have one of my own. Sold my subie and picked up my red NB on sunday! I was in the market for an NA and found this 99 in my price range!

The paint needs some attention and the stock wheels are dirty nasty but we'll get that taken care of soon. Pic from my phone:

The paint was in serious need of attention (hence the dull look in pic 1) when I got it but I saw the potential Let the buff party begin.


After just a buffing compound, no wax yet.


Wasn't positive I could save the rear bumper.


But scope the right side of the bumper


I'll get better pics of how the rear bumper came out later. My stepdad wanted to see what the wheels from the NA project would look like on mine so we tossed them on. All protected by a coat of lovely carnuba!

I'm on the prowl for some MSM headlights if anyone has a pair!

 

It looks like your mirrors are faded, paint them black and your windshield surround?
