The only wires left of the ecu are for the oem cluster, and surprisingly alot of the ones in the stock cluster can be cut off. Every single wire that isnt needed is gone.

Nice job, but I noticed it looks like you're still using the heavy doors with the side impact bar? Have you thought about replacing them with earlier doors without it? Huge weight saving right there.

Awesome bay, what you did with the wire harness is very similar to what Chase Bays offers to the Honda community...are you willing to start making more of these for money? I would be first in line.

Video as promised, its shot in full 720P so its alot better quality if you watch it on youtube. Enjoy!

I actually have been kinda toying with the idea of it, what kind of price do you think would be reasonable? I must have put a solid 70 hours into the whole rebuild/wireing ect. I would probably get it down right after a few of theses guys.

someone's been building race cars AND camera dollies!

levnubhin 07-09-2010 10:37 AM

What all did you eliminate from the harness? Id be interested in one depending on price and weather or not you can keep the a/c harness in it.

I'd be interested as well ... but I've got a lowly 1.6.

I'd really kill for a harness that accounts for the ignition, lighting (heads/tails/flashers) and then the drivetrain items (CAS, IAT, etc.) and skip all the gauge cluster wiring.

I will be documenting my harness strip very well in my build thread. Compete with wiring diagrams and photos if that helps any.

Yes I have a 1.6L also, but that really shouldn't be a problem. Chase Bays sells them for about $400-800 bucks, I think somewhere in that price range would be reasonable.

agreed, $600 +/- $75 would seem like a fair and reasonable cost target.
