I am immensely satisfied to hear the turbo spinning on decelleration from having such a straight through exhaust on this Gallardo. I have been on the fence about this sound on my own car - whether I really liked it or not. Hearing this thing and that it sounds exactly the same has solidified it for me - I love it.

For a car with a base price of $200,000 and more money for the 2 additional turbos and who knows what else. No. For street cars this is the new "fast".

People who buy Lambo's don't but them for their speed. Id say 9 out of 10 is because it's just a status symbol.

I won't disagree with that.

Seriously? Some of you guys have the ignorance to say that a 9 second quarter mile for a streetable car is not fast? Think real hard before you use the word fast again then. I bet you've called much slower cars fast before. It has nothing to do with the price tag.. spend a dollar to "buy" a 9 second car from your grandparents or spend a million, 9 seconds is still seriously fast. Until you have something faster, you can't be talking. I sure as hell don't so when someone builds a twin turbo lambo, I don't try to front like I even know what 9 seconds in the 1/4 feels like.

Try not to get your panties in a bunch...

Larry's car is far from typical. The only reason this got started is because I said "if it had some spool assist it would be damn fast". It OBVIOUSLY is not a drag car. If you listen you can hear the turbo's spool after the lambo leaves the line. They are not spooled at launch.

No biggie, enjoy your evening.

I call my car fast, but that doesn't mean it is.
