Prepare to vomit [Miata content]

Why do they all use those stupid Z3 front quarters? It's just tired at this point, completely aside from how lame it is to add on-functional venting in the first place. It's the stylistic equivalent of walking up to someone and saying: "WAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZZUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPPP!"

I was thinking the hood looked more like this, but nowhere near the same level of awesomeness of course
In fact if not for the pop-up lights I'll bet he/she would have placed the 'extractors' farther forward to better mimic the Enzo

Actually, if one were to have the inner fender liners removed for wheel clearance, the "Z3" fenders would indeed help vent excess air from behind the wheel...same with the lower vent behind the wheel on that car. But, it's obvious that that car nevers sees speeds to warrant such stuff. If one were to look in that area with the fender liners removed, you'd see what I am talking about. But like I said....such things would probably be OK on a car that sees nothing but track time.
I wonder if there is really any merit to the idea of just getting a typical NA into a wind-tunnel with some smoke and youtubing it. Like 15 minutes in there tops at 75MPH. I wonder what that costs. Do a car with an extractor hood, a diffuser, brake ducts, and a hardtop.
