Installed by a local shop. 1 5/8" .120 wall tubing. Also doesn't interfere with the rearview mirror.

does a hard top fit over it?

 

looks exactly like the Hard Dog X-Brace.

 

I havent tried it with a hardtop but i think it will fit. The seatbelts work fine and none of the plastic was trimmed. It also sits behind the side latches for the hardtop. I paid $500 for it; but I've known the shop owner for several years. It was based after the harddog x bar. Next up is adding door bars.
