Mixing dirt, paint, water, and crappy flash photography doesn't help either. I hadn't wiped it down after wetsanding.
Wiped down, just needs one more quick wipe and it's ready to spray (after I tape everything off)

obligatory Absurdflow shot

I think I have been inspired to start building a roll cage soon.
It seems like you are making some serious progress. A hell of a lot more than I would have gotten done in the few days this thread started.

DAmn, and your neighbors aren't throwing **** fits from you doing this in your garage? WOW
My buddy did that once and got a BIG *** fine for painting/primering in a residential garage.

People in California are THAT bitchy? I couldn't even imagine someone looking twice at someone doing a DIY paint job in their garage. I thought all automotive paint was safer these days anyway, and far less harmful to the environment. That isn't enough?
LOL lets not make this another CA VS OTHERS bitchfest.
All I know is when you live in a neighborhood where each garage is about 10-20 feet away from each other, neighbors get all pissy about stuff like this. If they report you you get a fine.
I'm sure in other parts where you guys live shitload of miles apart from each other no one gives a rats *** though.

I won't even get into the busybody clusterfucks that live in this neighborhood. Let's just say we are on a first name basis with the SLOPD public abatement specialist. Our immediate neighbors are nice, except the lady next door who doesn't seem to like anyone. The guy who lives behind us is 89, and his son races SFR SCCA.
