Sick 240Z build
Not my car obviously...I would never buy a Porsche or a Merc.

I'm sure he saved some weight with the motor swap, and it looked like a good bit of weight in the interior. 430whp in a 2000-2100lb car with decent rubber should be a lot of fun.
BUT...it would be the same amount of fun for 1/10th the cost.

I was talking about the RB20 motor mentioned in the post above mine when I made that comment.
RB20 is truly a POS engine. Having worked on them some (helping friends) and doing a little research I was amazed at how inefficient and all around worse than an sr20 they are.
The 240z is absolutely awesome. Attention to detail and cleanness is top notch.
is it worth 125k? hahahah he's dreaming

Gotcha...my misunderstanding.
Yeah, he defended the 4cyl choice several times in the tread...and it definitely makes sense. I still remember the first one of these I saw...it was n/a...and still badass. Light, great powerband, efficient, great character, and fast.
I realize that dumbasses pay this kind of money for similarly restored musclecars...but come one...there can't be a market that supports a bastard 260 at that kind of price. Maybe somebody with more money than they know what to do with is looking for something just like this. In all honesty it looks like it's track ready, in addition to being a street slayer....v-bands ftw.
