I know street racing is the devil and all, but one of my friends w/ an '07 Mustang GT with boltons (I/E) wanted to go for a run, so I couldn't resist. We went out to a nice quiet road late at night for a quick run from a 40 roll. The camera-man had a pretty good idea what was gonna happen, so he jumped in my car so there wouldn't be any excuses from the GT. Enjoy:

The mustang driver was really cool about it though. He posted on a local forum: "Ya um, my car got a **** taken on it. period. lol. I would say good race but it really wasn't even close." It's nice to run someone that doesn't take a race as a life and death situation, so props to him for that.

 

Very nice work. I am glad to see these cars taking on some v8 power. Makes me want to pick one up more and more!

Not bad for a 99 with just a header and exhaust. Now imagine if you'd raced him the turbo 90!

 

My mom has an 08 GT Convertible. It is quick, but it isn't what I expecting. Maybe it is because I drive a turbo charged car, and I relate the power with boost build up. The GT's power is linear so it doesn't feel like it is quick. It is hard to explain.
