19 year old NB for a 33year old guy in Cyprus, Europe
Hi!

Yes, I did read that sticky post stuff from the last century. (What also ish the timeframe I used an online forum last, that time it was about my Dodge RAM 1500...).
My name is Justus, I'm original from Germany and now 33 years old. In Germany are often no speed limits, the streets are wide and cops don't like car mods - first two speak against Miatas, last one against me...
I signed out of the country nearly three years ago to travel the world and stumbled about the small island called Cyprus in 2019. 2 weeks later I bought my first MX5 NB RS, a Japan import with a bunch of mods. It was nice, I had a lot of fun, and then I spent the Autumn in Germany and the Winter in South Africa (Cyprus gets "to cold" for me in that time, I like it warm...).
Coming back to my stored MX5 in Feb. 2020, I instantly infected my roommate with the Miatavirus and we bought one for her. Also other friends got addicted and tryed to avoid them (he got a BMW Z3, lol, then he bought my blue 1.8 RS couple of weeks later and I bought another red NB 1.8). Now we are a group of 4 Germans in Cyprus + a big amount of Cypriot MX5 freaks which love the cars. 3 of us track their 1.8 NBs at the local race track, modify them in our garage and enjoy drives to the mountains and nightrides through the cities. Life is beautiful on a small island with a small car and a small group of petrol heads
I started reading in this forum a while ago because I want to install a electric "Turbo" in my 1.8 NB. The manufactor TQAmp sells a set with everything I need for the turbo, and all the rest is like with a normal turbo - nearly. I never did a turbo mod or work with stand alone ECUs. Actually my "coding" experience limits to some mods I made to my BMW F31 years ago in Germany... so I made another post in this forum to share my experience and ideas as also to find some help where my head bangs the wall. You can find or ignore it here:

That's for now.
Thanks for all the smart people which are still writing stuff even if it was done a thousand times before.
Yours
Justus
