I am currently in the process of assembling parts for a 2.5 Duratec swap into my... Ford Focus. Hear me out: this forum is probably the best repository of Duratec/MZR information on the internet (at least what I can find). My car is a full on race car, with a complete gutted interior and full cage, competing in endurance events like Lemons and ChampCar (you can find us on the socials @TeamSlowtus). During the next year I am going to complete my 2.5 swap, and fully run the car on a Megasquirt, which should be relatively easy (famous last words) since I have no need for any accessories at all. The goal for me is reliability, not necessarily power, as we are currently competitive mid-pack in Class B, and the 2.5 will give us an additional 40 HP (that's 133% of stock!) without having to do any forced induction or heavy tuning.

I'm looking forward to not saying much and reading a lot about 2.5 swaps, and maybe asking a question here and there.
