I'm pretty bored so for those of you that don't know me ill start talking about my self. My name is michael or mike. I'm 18. I bought my first miata in February 07 just had rims and an intake and a paint job. The reason that i bought this sports car is because two of my friends (there brothers) and there dad all owned miatas (1990). It was a great car. My knowledge in turbochargers and electrical **** is not like some of the guys here ( Braineack, Ben, olderguy, cjernigan, etc..) but I learned a lot so far on this forum. This is actually where i learned all about turbo charging. My skills are mostly just wrenching on the car. In August 07 i totaled my miata a week after i ordered my Greddy kit. I didnt want to give up tho. The front end of the car was smashed, just touching the motor but the motor was still good. So after a week of the crash i started looking for another miata. I found a junk miata sitting in back of someone yard. So i knocked and ask about it the man said that the car been sitting there for years because it doesnt run. So i looked at it, there where no seats, dash was still there, no tranny, no diff, a POS motor, teared soft top basically a mess. I offered 150 bucks but he didnt want then my final offer was 200, he took it and since he owned a tow truck i got a free tow to where i wanted it. Took me about 3 or 4 weeks of work spaced out of 4 months to take everything out of my first miata i mean everything besides the rear sub frame and disassemble the new miata and put the good stuff into my new miata. I did this by myself in a shop that my uncled owned. Quick review: motor (1.6) trans, rear end, drive shaft, trunk lid, tail lights, fender, full interior (seats, dash, gauge cluster, carpet,),soft top, doors, ignition switch (so i can use the same key as the first miata), fuel pump and dont forget the best part, my turbo kit. So i made this miata drivable in the month of February of 08. From then its been coming along well.
