Default ADN-Another Dumb N00b

Realized I've been posting here, getting flamed, etc, and perhaps was due to not posting here first. Obviously I'm a complete moron, and this is my first car, first car forum, and first time modifying anything. I have lots of so expect lots of dumb questions.

Ok so maybe not. I picked up 99 miata..to save some $$ on gas for my massive 30mile round trip work commute (). More importantly its to get back to the track. After a few honduhz (crashed), an STi (sold), an evo (built, tuned, crashed), and a few 600CC race bikes (crash, crash, and crashed), I got the itch to go back into something track worthy. The miata in stock form is fun, kinda, but ***** ******* slow, hence the need for some turb0z

Wish me luck.

Took you long enough to introduce yourself. Now we won't flame you (as hard)

Post pics of the car and a list of what maintenance you have performed since you got it, any issues with the car, etc.. Also your budget, power goals, etc..

Roll bar should be your first mod. Sounds like you don't along with vehicles very well.

...how old are you? If you're less than 25, I'm gonna lol really ******* hard.

That's a lot of wrecks bro. Ever think about getting a scooter or something a little less...deadly?

I'm...26! In the clear right? Some twerp NASA instructor in a turbo miata rear ended the evo(he was really cool about it) and well sport bikes are easy to crash at the race track once you get going at a decent clip. In a car you slide the rear end, lock up the front, maybe spin or have a minor off track excursion. Bikes..well you crash for very minor errors.

So you've been driving for 10 years and wrecked 7-8 (you said a few hondas so I'm figuring 3-4) vehicles? I tip my hat to you, sir. That's impressive.

Seeing as you're some kind of half-man, half-cat thing you should fit in well with a site who's motto seems to be "Cause turbo's a kitties are awesome." Just remember, cats only have 9 lives

Maybe you should do some driver training. I mean, there's only one common factor in all these crashes: you.

^said in earnest, with maybe 20% snark.

Welcome,
Get the book "Going Faster" its from the Skip Barber Racing School.
(If nothing else you can glue wheels on it and roll it around on the carpet)
