Alright chaps and chappesses.

Not new to the MX5 thing, but new to the site. A mate of mine showed me your site while we were trying to get some (Mega)squirt info and looks like you've got a knowledgable bunch here. Thought I'd sign up and show you my motor from across the pond.


Her name's Amy. She's a pain in the **** (most of the time), but when she's behaving herself, she's spot on.


She's had a bit of a hard life starting off boosted from basically new, going through plenty of metal under the bonnet (5 engines now)...


However, some shiny Wossner 8.6:1 pistons and H-beam Eagles holding 'em to the crank, the aforementioned squirt (Courtesy of Skuzzle Motorsport here in the UK), much blood and plenty of swearing and she now breathes more healthily than ever.


She still needs some taming before she can be deemed the perfect sweetheart (right now she's still a hard-nosed bitch), but one payslip at a time, eh?


By the way, thumbs up to those that noticed she's a long way from her original stomping ground...

Thanks for the welcome chaps. The rims are BBS LM reps (when you see how much the real ones are, you'll see why I went reps!

The tow strap is good here. My Miata didn't come with a tow eye when I received it, so I thought it'd be an idea in case I broke down! I haven't used the car on track yet, so we shall see should I need a hitch! Watch this space...
