Howdy..
New member from the central valley in sunny California. Currently gathering information on my first Miata purchase as a play car. Still not certain which year to select. I'm a boost fanatic- I'm certain the car will see a compressor at some point in its life and being in California I need to remain *semi-smog compliant. I'm counting the cost of purchasing an already boosted vehicle instead of a slow build.
I currently own a bone stock Protege' 5 and a hopped-up Mazdaspeed 3(My second one, I blew the first). Also owned a nightmare FD back in '95, so I'm no stranger to Mazda quirks. Like battered-wife-syndrome, I know better, but I can't stay away.. I'll die an abused Mazda owner/fan.

I'm new to the platform, so feel free to make suggestions.








* Semi means back to smog compliant in a reasonable amount of time-4-5 hours would be nice.

 

I think I found a cream puff in Southern California-
