Default Back in the game in Illinois

Back in the game for the 4th time after two NAs and an NB! I've been a long time lurker over the years doing research for the day where funds and a Miata finally lined up.

Funny story, I wasn't really looking for a Miata, this one kinda fell into my lap. Original owners of a 1996 Maxima that was basically my 4th car, decided to put it up for sale or trade. Long story short I was able to trade straight for a 1990.

-It's relatively rust free save for a few spots in the trunk where water has collected from draining from the top.
-Mileage is unknown, speedometer stopped working at 185K so somewhere north of that, and there was a miss/hesitation at part throttle.
-Broken loop on dipstick
-Goop on the coil packs to fix a presumed short.
-Sweet Mugen D steering wheel

Already been to the junkyard and ordered maintenance parts from one of my suppliers so all but the top issue should be fixed this week and I should be off and cruising.

Once I do a compression test, on with the boost!

I like to think of it as the car picked me.....(Wait, what does that say about me !?) I wasn't getting much interest in selling the Maxima at $750 so I figured why not!
