We actually have two:

Vaucluse; which is pretty run down and bumpy, so it's mainly used as a rally stage and party venue.

Bushy Park; which was newly renovated and upgraded to a formula 3 spec track, since we hosted Top Gear Festival of Speed in August and Race of Champions in December.

Nice! I'd love to have a chance to drive bushy park! That looks amazing.

 

Hopefully my car will be finished by the next track day on February 15th and I can head up with a go pro and get some footage for you guys.

Finally she runs again!

Here's the short story leading up to the first drive as a turbo car.

Some new pipe:

All done and ready to bake on the 2000*F paint to cure it:
(For those of you with a keen eye you'll notice the collector still needed to be ported at this point)


While that was baking I drilled and tapped the sump ( worst job ever! took me 3hrs )

Didn't take many pics as I reinstalled as i had a leaky oil feed to replace and a couple other small issues... but now she runs and drives!

After I was sure it worked and drove as it should, it was time to do some bodywork to fit this unorthodox turbo mounting position.

In addition to deleting power steering the hood had to be modified.

Suddenly a wild NACA Duct appeared to channel air into the turbo mouth




Then the guy spray painted my hood with tentative placement for some hood vents that should help with hood to turbo clearance, heat dissipation, and pressure drop in the engine bay to allow more efficient airflow through the heat exchangers up front.
