Default Greetings! Better late than never.

Hello all. Joined the forum some time ago, but just recently became active, realizing I need to become a bit more informed if I expect to keep the track toy happy.

I have a '99 that I've owned since '04 and supercharged in '07. Although I'm in the minority on this forum, I haven't found a group that's more knowledgeable about Miatas and forced induction, so hopefully you'll tolerate me

I try to get in a handful of lapping days at the local road course every year, and have been having a ton of fun making my ride a bit faster every season. All was well until September last year when I melted piston #4, largely due to the fact that I had no gauges and consequently no idea what sort of hell my engine was going through. So, after a small engine fire, sourcing a salvaged engine, adding an intercooler and critical gauges, I think I'm ready for the 2010 season.

And yes I have video of an idiot trying to blow out an engine bay fire. That reminds me, I need to order a fire extinguisher.

Here's a lapping video from last year - pre fire.

Welcome to the forums! Good job on the engine fire
I'm sure that you can find all the information you need here, these guys know their ****. Just use the search button before asking anything potentially stupid. Good luck in the 2010 season!
