Been lurking, back for no reason than to annoy Ben
Hey all, name's Chris, used to have this '95 R-pack:
Been about 7 years since I owned a Miata, looking at picking up an auto '91 from my friend for a DD turbo build on the cheap. DD'ing a '98 Integra RS auto right now that I'm planning a J35 swap on after the Miata's done. Miata has some shifting problems right now, going to check it out some more this week to see what I'm getting myself into. I'll probably lurk for a while more until I actually pick this thing up and start tearing into it. Looking for about 200whp, but I'd love to make about 250whp without tearing into the engine.
Look forward to digging up some good info.

250whp on a 1.6 will be some heavy boost. Sounds fun. You're going to need a pretty well sorted setup to do that though, probably going to take a lot of time to compile the parts cheaply. The classifieds here are really helpful for that.
Miata fell through, life hit, got old/hangry, picked up a Fiesta ST last summer after building a crappy Accord that sucked at autoX, getting pissed off at it, sold it. FiST has a Stratified E30 email tune and CP-e rear mount.
Heatsoa is a bitch and I'm too cheap to want to upgrade it without a bigger turbo.
Bought another botched Honda a few months ago for no reason(1998 Prelude resto/mod - HondaSociety Web Community) and may want to boost that. Mainly lurking again for researching a cheaper alternative for an upgraded turbo on the FiST(it's like a FWD, dual VVT, DI, B6) and gathering bad ideas for the Prelude.
Oh, got these two idiots along the way. And scammed a woman into spending her life with me.
