New Miata Owner from CT
Hello guys, recently picked up a 97 Miata, car has a crap load of miles (230k) and rust on the rear rockers and 1/4 panels. I currently have the car in a garage as I am taking off all the control arms so I can replace the bushings.
Plans for the car are not 100% just yet. Right now I am focusing on the body and getting it looking good. Just ordered both rocker panels and have a follow miata owner cutting up some rear 1/4 panel patches for me. Once the body is fixed I would like to respray it to a different color which is still undecided, but white is the most likey (currently dark blue STO Edition). I am thinking turbo build on a new block alone with a mild Wire tuck. Its obd2 so I wont being going to nuts with that just yet and then figure what I can ditch from the bay with out failing Emissions. Like I said, I'm not sure what the end goal is just yet, maybe a little weekend drift project or maybe track. Who knows, but hey things will unfold as they come. For now I'm here to read and learn a few different options and see where it takes me.
Thats it for now.

Welcome to the site. Getting the car all cleaned up, and working and looking properly will make your life so much better when it comes time to modify it.
Stick around and do a little reading, i'm sure it will be clear what our "opinions" are. lol
