Default Central NJ checking In

Hey all, been lurking for a bit and figured i would finally just sign up and join the community. I currently have an 01LS that i am looking for a mild power boost. Car is more of a daily so my power goals are modest (FM voodoo would be ideal but is a little pricey at the moment for me). Most likely will go with either a diy turbo setup or an m45 setup if i can find one.

DIY setup with my recommendations and you'd save tons of money and you'd have a good running car that makes decent power.

Someone has a used FM kit for about $3K in the F/S section. If you have the cash on hand.

My daily is a blast... hard as heck to stay out of boost just driving to work. And it is mild as I haven't added the EBC yet. All to say, "welcome."

Thanks for the links and ideas, i did see the fm2 kit for sale but that is beyond what i wanted to spend in one shot at the moment.

I did find someone selling a MSM turbo, manifold, heatshields and J pipe for $850, just not sure if this is a good route and price to go.

I figured as much considering the minimal power increase and orientation it provides.
