Default Checking in from Southern California

Hello,
I've been Googling Miata stuff so much and ending up here I decided it was time to join.

I picked up a 99 witha 5 speed, Torsen, and ~120k on the odometer a while back. I promptly bolted on a MP62, Trackdog intercooler, Cobalt header and a smaller pulley. Car ran great and was fun to drive. I had plans for more power and was saving for MSpnp and some injectors to get me there. But then, disaster struck!

Long story short, I lost a rod bearing and now a budget rebuild is in the cards. I think I'm in the right place for the answers I seek.

You've definitely come to the right place.... ESPECIALLY if the answers you seek involve selling the MP62 and using that money for a turbo build.. lol The MS is definitely a good idea though. Post some pics of the car, and make a build thread as you go through and fix it all!!!

Thanks fellas.
She is really not much to look at, but here you go. This how I found it...

It was only $500. It started, ran and passed smog the next day. Other than hours of scrubbing it down inside and out, and a new top, it pretty much looks the same on the outside. Under the hood however...

I will start an engine build thread stat.
