Hi. I recently acquired my first Miata, a crystal blue metallic 2002. I believe it is an LS : it has tan interior, Bose stereo, and a 6-speed manual. It is medium high mileage at 139K but looks very clean and straight, just a few small dings. My goal is to replace most of the mechanicals with performance upgrades starting with suspension and later the drivetrain.

So far I have replaced the Bose speakers with aftermarket (Audison). Next step is Bose amp bypass and new head unit.

Hey, another local guy! 139k is borderline low mileage for one of these cars nowadays haha. Assuming she was taken care of previously, your car probably has tons of life left in it.
