Post First post, just saying hi!

Hello, I'm new to this forum and thought I would introduce my self and my plans. I have a 97 Brilliant Black with 155k miles. I previously owned a 95 rust bucket and ended up pulling the engine and trans. I'm in the process of building the 95 motor to swap in the 97 Miata. I want a reliable street/track car making around 250-300hp. I so far have Weisco pistons (.040 over) and rings, Manly rods, Cometic head gasket, ARP head studs and main studs. I'm debating whether or not I should go for the ATI damper or not, the price hurts my heart. I also don't know what turbo setup I should go for. An EFR kit would be awesome. I'd love to hear what you guys think of my plans.

The most important part is the ECU, and you haven't mentioned it. Which megasquirt will you buy?

You don't need a damper at that power level. You should get a Boundary Engineering billet oil pump if you plan to track it because of revving for extended periods at higher power.

I'm thinking on going with the MS2PNP. That was what I was thinking as well. I was thinking on at least getting the billet oil pump if I had to upgrade one.
