Talking Gday

Evening New & stupidly proud owner of a 94 eunos roadster.
Tein coilovers, lsd lots of bling (yes i know its too low) & 67000 km's
The car has just had a leak down test and got returns of 2 to 3% loss on all cylinders... if that & the vent in the headlight cover ain't a reason to turbo this sucker nothing ever will be...

So that's it really just saying "Gday"

Welcome man. Nice car.

Are those 17" wheels?

I like Miatas lowered so that's cool with me but I'm not too impressed with the spoiler.

I hope you turbo it soon and enjoy it. Let us know how we can help you.

Please read the FAQs and start asking questions.

They look familiar, are those OE wheels from something else?

Nice car!
I'm not big on the wing either, looks like the one off of the S2000CR. But if you like it, rock it!
And the wheels look like stretched out, pointy Viper/SRT4 wheels.
Good luck with the build! Plenty of knowledge to be had here!

Thanks for the welcome

The wheels are aftermarkets made by ROH, 17's running 205/40 rubber.
I like the style of them but their too big and pretty heavy, so their gone as soon as find some lightweight 15's or just possibly 16's.

The car came with the aero kit on and I agree about the wing it's
Going to change that as soon as i can find a lid.
Ive raised the car up about an inch since that shot as it was stupidly low.
90mm ground clearance = hard to get into driveway, over speedumps
and just about anything else that's not a piece of paper

BTW the search function on this site works really well i have about 15 windows open at once lol.
Braineack's guide was a brilliant place to start reading, as we say over here "gold mate"
Im looking forward to learning and getting it out on a track as that's the ultimate goal.

It's obvious you have not only been reading here but you're getting informed about your car! Well done.

About the wheels; heavy wheels do indeed make a difference in a Miata. Most of the members use 15" but some of us use 16". The trick is to get them as light as possible. If you're going to end up turboing your car I suggest you get them 8" in width. As you put the power down with the turbo you'll find out pretty soon that you need more rubber contacting the ground!
