Gidday from Auckland, New Zealand
Just graduated from a 1979 MG Midget to an MX5 intercooled turbo. Let's just say I'm not looking back !
It's currently still a project car so still needs a bit of tidying, most challenging thing will be sorting the tuning. It has a megasquirt ECU, which I've discovered is very DIY. Still, 'how hard can it be' ? Mmmmm. I'm about to hit the user guide, and I'll go from there. Based on limited research I'm hoping for 150kw ATW, which in about 950kg will do quite nicely on practice sessions at Pukekohe race circuit.
Anyhow, will be asking lots of dumb questions along the way !
Cheers, Matt.

Welcome aboard Matt.
You'll find a ton of info on the MS here. There's even a very long thread there with a bunch of different spark maps you can use as reference.
Some pics of your car would be nice.
