Default Going turbo soon

I'm new.
Have a 97 Montego blue with a stock motor. She's my second 97 NA - I sold my last to buy this one since she's super clean with not a spec of rust! Daily driven in the salt-free season.
Leave your thoughts!

Build so far:
Hardtop + repainted to match
Tein Flex Z coils 7k/6k f/r
Enkei RPF1 15x8 +28 w 205/50 Conti ECS
Koyorad 36mm aluminum rad
RoadsterSport4 2.25 inch catback
Sparco 330mm wheel w worksbell adapter
R front lip - license plate bracket - other goodies

Planning on going FM stage 1/voodoo kit since I'm in NY and need obd2 emissions - paired with FM stage 1 clutch & AEM X-series wideband/gauge. Thinking of wiring it into a harness extension to avoid cutting up the stock one

Going to upgrade injectors + MSPNP2 later on in between inspections for more boost - planning to stay at ~200rwtq and stock internals

https://dmv.ny.gov/inspection/new-yo...-program-nyvip ride it out for 3 years and you will be OBD inspection exempt

What vehicles are exempt from the on-board diagnostic system (OBDII) and low-enhanced emissions inspection?

These vehicles are exempt
  • motorcycles
  • vehicles less than two model years old 2
  • vehicles more than 25 model years old 3

Wow thanks! Not sure how I missed that with all the reading I've been doing "at lunch" these past few months

Beautiful car! Love that color. And +1 on waiting for the OBDII. I’m from NY as well and went with a pre ‘95 for that reason. Enjoy!

See I'd love to trade for a 94 or 95 but my car is just too clean and I've invested too much :/
