What sorcery do I need to be able to sell my car?
Hey guys,
I haven't posted much of anything over the course of 6 years, but I have most certainly learned a ton here in the interwebs of MiataTurbo. Your posts were essential to me building my 2002 Turbo Miata and I appreciate it. So I wanted to say hello and ask what is needed to post my car for sale? I believe I read a while ago that you need to have a certain amount of activity in order to do so, however I can't seem to find that information anymore.
Thanks for your time.
Ryan

The forum has a minimum postcount before anyone can post in the classifieds. This was put in place shortly after the beginning, to combat spammers who would sign up for a new account and then immediately try to post garbage in the for-sale section.
Sadly, it has had unforeseen consequences such as this.
The postcount is something like 10 or 15. I can't recall exactly. Responding in this thread would count, and under the circumstances, the unwritten rules pertaining to same would be overlooked by the staff.
That said, I would point out that the statistical probability of finding a buyer for a whole car in a forum such as this is small as compared to outlets such as Craigslist. Not trying to dissuade you, just a practical reality.
