Hey I lurked on this forum for 10 minutes and after seeing some of the chat on here, some lop from Arizona get roasted over some roadster.net style wheels and a mention of a "reverse stretch" tire forum I realized... this is is a nice place. I could FEEL the sunshine.

I'm not going to tell you **** about myself because other than some HPT in Swedish automobiles I've been S/C for the last 15 years. Watching people constantly swap this, and that, and turbos, blocks, heads, downpipes, ECU's, manifolds, injector and cooling setups, intercooler variants, like some kind of never ending money fueled persuit of what?? that ends when the hottie is blasted out of her seat so the laptop can be plugged in to read the latest fuel maps because the car is at a different altitude than yesterday.... dork zania!! holy ******* **** people. Drive the car. Most of you won't own the same iron in 4 years anyway, or the "clever" setup you came up with, some other ****** will be struggling with bits of your idea scattered around the kitchen table in his apartment as his girlfriend stares at the pile of parts and realizes the guy upstairs has his car in one piece, doesn't mess around with it all the time and has time to ****.

This is a nice place. I am looking forward to meeting all of you.

Thanks. I will try to be nice and not be such a *****. There seems to be a lot of talent on here and it's also nice to see some rabid enthusiasm for the 6UL which is about as real and on target as any product can get. like I said I am a member of what would be to you, um... how to relate it in a way the constantly ******* around with their cars can understand... Oh, i know... the great unwashed so I will probably just hide my retardation and lurk most of the time and try to pick up suspension, ecu, fueling tips. I figgure one gold nugget of info per thousand posts is a pretty good hit rate

Glad this board is wildly different than roadstr.net first thought it would be more of the same.

Dork zania. I agree. I came to that realization at the last dyno day when I started to feel like I was back in 7th grade sitting at the nerd table in the cafeteria. Obnoxious personalities and all.

Glad I wasn't the only one that felt like Helen Keller at a spelling bee
