Goodbye from North Alabama!
Well its been a good run these ten years, but I knew someday it would draw to a close. From my first Miata when I was 15 years old, my white 93', to two tenth anniversary models, one 91 BRG, and lastly an 04 Mazdaspeed Miata. I have enjoyed them substantially, but I have seen the light, and the Light is Honda S2000.
Okay, I don't wanna be offensive. Its sorta like comparing apples and oranges. But I drove a 2001 S2000 and I was so astonished by its chassis and behavior that I had to have one to play with. Two days later and I decided to sale it all. My 91 is sold, my 97 is sold, and my 04 MSM is sold. I guess someday I may consider an NC....
Think of an S2000 is sorta a Miatas' big brother. A bit longer wheelbase, a bit heavier, a really sweet motor, but same driver only roadster.
So goodbye everybody! I'll see you when I get a LS1 Miata.

Good luck.
I love the s2000 and wanted one since they came out in 00.
Had an opportunity a few months to pick one up for cheap from a friend, and asked him to drive it for a few days to see if I like it.
I absolutely hated it for around town/street driving. There is no torque to speak of down low. About as much as a civic judging from butt dyno lol. And very poor gas mileage despite being an n/a 4 cyl.
But as a track car it looks like they're phenomenal.
As a turbocharged highway queen they are also stellar.
And they just look and feel SO SEXY
Have fun man
