Greetings from Northern VA
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Geran and I currently don't own a Miata.
I am looking to build a track only Miata for competing in NASA ST2 events eventually as well as local HPDEs, Hillclimbs and Redline Time Attacks when they come around.
Hopefully I get to know a good amount of knowledge from this board before making a purchase and maybe make some new friends.
That is all for now but I will surely be back to do A LOT of research.
I have a general idea of things I would like for the car ranging from aerodynamics, wheels/tires and suspension. The only thing I am on the fence about is the engine...options are swapping to a V8 or turboing it around 250hp and upgrading later if need be.

Thank you for the welcome.
Any links or usernames I should look at?I currently live in Sterling but I am looking for a house in Prince Georges County MD (this is holding my back from getting a Miata right now).Really? That's completely different from the other board I was on (RS25.com).

Because housing prices are still cheaper out there and due to where I work (downtown DC) my commute will go from an hour and 45mins to just 35mins.
Trust me, if I found a decent job paying me what I make or more out where I live now. I wouldn't be moving.
