Gulfport, MS - Clearwater, FL. Just wanted to introduce myself.
Hey everybody, I've been lurking for a while with and without a username and I have finally decided to take a second to introduce myself. My name is Frank and I'm currently stationed in Gulfport, Mississippi but I'm from Clearwater, Florida and drive back there from time to time when I can. so if there are any members close to those areas or in between its always nice to meet other Miata owners. Ive been lurking Miata forums sinse 2009 looking for the right one to buy and two months ago I finally purchased a 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata, it's production # is 204. It had a hard top and a "M2 Hard Dog Hard Core Hard Top" roll bar when I bought it. Since owning it(ordered all the following parts the day day after I bought the car) I have installed the following:
FM complete intake kit
Corksport 80mm catback exhaust
OBX 2.5" catless Down pipe with elbow
Ebay 27"x8"x2.75" Bar and Plate Intercooler w/ 2.5" inlet/outlet
AEM Tru Boost Controller
AEM UEGO wideband A/F gauge
Speedhut Dual A-pillar guage pod
I have many more plans for this car but they will have to wait till April time frame as I am deploying again next month but that's not to say I can't buy more parts between now and then
anyways i just wanted to say Hi.

Damn, you live close to where I stay when I'm down there! I'm right by Drew St. and Keene Rd. I'm actually driving down to Clearwater on the 28th of July and I'll be there for about two weeks. I'm going to be leaving my Miata down there with a buddy while I'm gone. I'll PM you my cell phone number.

Thanks.
Thanks, I'll check that out. All I have really seen around here are 16 year old kids in their beat up, riced out Honda's. Then again, I have seen some "muscle cars" that were even more riced out.

Oh nice, if you want to meetup one day let me know. I guess my post count isn't high enough to PM yet or else I'd give you my number. I know what you mean though.. I have only seen one other Miata/automotive enthusiast in the area and its a friend of mine who is in another Battalion here but he just left this past month on a different deployment so now I'm back down to knowing zero in the area.
