Honestly we are a tough crowd to please. We want high performance parts on time for really cheap. We all started with around 5k cars. If you can do engine builds for the same price range as trackspeed engineering that are of similarly high quality, some people will buy them. If you can make a t5 trans mounting kit, lots of people will buy them. But before anyone buys anything we need to hear some background info on the shop, and see some of your work and real world results.

As was alluded to in an earlier post, most people here spent $5k or less purchasing their cars and tend to be tight with their spending on the upgrades. There are lots of engineers and DIY guys here and a very large percentage of the guys on the forum track their cars on road courses around the nation. This forum likes power and performance modifications but will weigh everything with an eye towards bang for the buck. People will spend good money for proven gains, but it won't be Porsche money, or even Supra or Skyline money to achieve them. They are often too pragmatic and logical to spend $300 for a part that will give the same HP bump as adding 2psi of additional boost, if you know what I mean.
Example: Nobody here spends $800 for a turbo exhaust manifold like the Supra guys do. I do know somebody that spent a bunch for porting at Rebello(sp), though.
But if you show us a valuable service for a reasonable price for the gain, we would be interested in hearing about it.

An affordable transmission adapter kit would be awesome. The demand for transmission durability made the Miata 6-speeds comparable in price to used T-56's...
Our 5-speeds explode with little warning above ~200wtq (mine blew still N/A at 97k miles.) So few durable trannys limits the potential of track cars & daily-driven Miatas.
A Miata adapter kit for the following Tremec transmissions might sell:
T-5 (cheaper & more plentiful then NB 6-speeds, comparably rated).
T56 (used price comparable to healthiest Miata 6-speeds, considerably stronger).
TKO-500/600 (bulletproof, lighter & more compact then T56 but $2,000... Custom gearing available to compensate for no 6th gear)

Site is lacking in a lot of places, but mainly you realllllly need to get a function that allows us to look at parts based on the car. Also, I don't see anything about transmission work. Lastly, I would think it a good idea to get some turbo parts if you are trying to promote it on a turbo forum...but you can get around that through other ways I guess.
Good luck, I look forward to seeing what you guys have to offer.

On another note, we will see if we can come up with some solution to the tranny problems you guys are seeming to run into. Most importantly offer many great items as amazing prices!

Well Guys, look forward to Renown becoming a sponsor and bringing you quality products and build options!
As far as the trans adapters go, we can definitely take a crack at it! I am a CAD Technician and we share our building facility with a CNC Machine shop so possibilities are definitely there!
