Default Hello, another FI noob from the north!

Hi everyone, my name is Chris (25 yrs old) and I live just outside of Toronto, Canada (GTA). I bought my twilight blue 2000 Miata just over a year ago with 45,000 km on it. I should mention that this was my first car purchase. Currently it is hibernating (now with 55,000 km) and awaiting the install of a Moss MP62 SC (ya I know….Booooo SC’s). Oh ya, I should mention that I now own a 2004 Ford Focus (winter beater) because I just couldn’t bring myself to subject the Miata to the winter salt (I think this shows my love).

Well, this all I can think about now. I would have included pictures but the car is covered and in a tight garage.

P.S. The knowledge of FI on here is amazing (I’m truly captivated) and I’m learning so much.

Cheers,
Chris

Welcome aboard Chris.

I hope you enjoy your SC. You won't find too much info on superchargers on this site but you'll make up for it by learning about FI.

Have you decided on how you're going to control your Moss kit?

Rafa, I plan on giving the bandaids it came with some use (e.g. PowerCard Pro and Timing card). I plan on just using it stock for a while (one season). Down the line I would like to purchase an emanage or xede off this forum as I will probably want larger injectors and more control (to fix the idle quality that results from the large throttled volume).

Careful with your timing map.
