I've been lurking for probably about the past year and finally registered and figured I ought to go ahead an post an intro thread. My name is Laoxang, but I go by Lao or Lai, I'm 29 years young and was born and raised here in CO. I've got a 99' Miata base that came equipped with the Sports Package. I was looking for a project/summer car last year and the Miata checked everything off of my list of things I wanted. One of the main reasons being that I'm on the quest for boost that is I think 10 years in the making!

Long story short, in 2008 (I think) I bought one of these to turbocharge my 2005 Nissan Sentra:





It's a GT28R (GT2560R). Things never panned out, it never got installed and I tried but was unable to sell it. So I've just hung on to it for the past 10 years... in a box... in the basement. But as I've said, I chose the Miata based on the Turbo I had on hand, reading that the 2560R was a common turbo used on Miata's with practically OTS components (i.e: Flyin Miata). It'll most likely be a K.I.S.S vanilla build.

I will look to creating a build thread when I get around to it.
