Hello everyone, noob from Ohio here
Hello everyone! My name is Robert and I own a ’95 Miata. I’ve been lurking for a while now and figured it was time to introduce myself.
I’ve owned this Miata for a couple years now and before that I owned a ’91 Miata.
Over the summer a friend of mine bought a turbo ’94 Miata and asked me to help him get it home. After driving it home for him I realized I needed to turbo mine as well.
Thus began the long process of researching. I started with installing a MegaSquirt and learning how to tune the stock motor. After a couple months, I felt that my car ran and drove pretty well and decided it was time to install injectors and re-tune. I went with the Flow Force 640cc injectors and was able to get the car running and driving much quicker the second time around.
Then, I bought a used turbo setup from a member of a local Miata group for a good price. I bought a semi complete used Begi S4 setup with a Garrett GT2860. The kit was missing a few parts but had all the important stuff. I’ve spend the last couple months preparing for the install and gathering all the remaining parts needed to complete it.
Currently, I have the car completely disassembled, all parts have been test fit, and am working on building the 3 inch exhaust.
