Hello from Florida
Hello Everyone,
My name is Jo, im 28 and i live in Ft. Myers FL, I bought a 1999 miata in september 2015. It was my first miata and i had no idea what i was getting into. I originally purchased it with the intention to sell after a few months since my daily driver was getting some problems fixed, but after a few days of owning the miata i fell in love with it. I have owned 2 other stock turbo cars in the past. The miata is pretty much stock except for a K&N intake. I would love to do as much as i can to the car and see how fun i can make it. that is why i joined this forum. Any tips would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. We have a couple of members down there who could be helpful to you. Paging @pdexta!
Do you have interests in making it into something you could drive on track at Sebring or something more of just a street car?

Not exactly Ft Myers but I visit Lehigh Acres every time I can when they host an autocross. It's the most fun you can have with your car legally.
I'll be there Nov 13 for the Florida State Championship. If you've never done it before I recommend going on a Saturday and doing the school. Way more seat time, lots of instructing, and much less working the course. And cheaper, too.
