I knew this forum for a while now from my friend Pen2_The_Penguin, and today I feel I should Join here to gain knowledge and make friends!
I am a teenager who absolutely Love Miatas, I am still a year away from getting my driver's license, But I already started looking at a NA Miata Project car.
Since last year, 1st Gen Miatas starts to grow on me a lot, I love the simple look and THE POP UP HEADLIGHTSSSS! And after seeing an Absolutely Pristine condition '89 USDM Classic Red Miata up close a few month ago, I know, A clean 5Spd NA Miata WILL be my first car. I NEED to find a good one, and I Will have the greatest time working on it and driving it on lovely roads.
I met Pen2 on FB last year and he basically Introduced me to Turbocharged Miatas: 200+WHP in a lightweight RWD car, what's not to love! And soon he told me have a look at this forum, Being a total Idiot in Forums(in general) , I did not register but often checked back at different information. But today, I decided to join here.
My favourite Miata is the 1991 BRG Limited Edition, and although they can be sometimes seen on Nationwide classifieds, finding one in real life is almost impossible!
I wish to acquire a clean 1994-1997 1.8L BP Miata as my first (project+daily) car, A "M Edition" would be awesome but I bet they are hard to find In Canada. So far I had a look at two local Miatas that are both 1.6L 5Spds, asking for $3500CAD, have untasteful wheels and rust, non-original hardtop, Repainted and Not in good condition. I "Passed" both of Them. Hopefully the next one I find can be better :P
