let me say hello from the other side of the atlantic ocean.

my name is Kristian aka Krischan, sitting over here in northern Germany and writing nonsense

my car is a european 1996 merlot LE 1.6 with some things already done.
The car is n/a, as I plan to go ITB.

Here are some of the mods I did in the last 3,5 years:

6spd
4,3 from a 91L with Mazdaspeed 2way LSD
MS PnP w AFM removal
some headwork with oversized valves from FM
Splitfire COPs
JR CAI
RB 4-1
JR catalyst
ATJ catback exhaust
FM B-Brace
H&R sways
Koni shocks
Front airdam and rear lip from R-Package
A lot of chrome in the Interieur and some other stuff like a Voodoo ****....
91 stock springs (to be changed for FM springs)
wheels are silver 7x15 OZ Superleggera III
tyres are Hankook RS-2, Kumho KU 15 to come
brakes are 255 (Antilock) with drilled rotors, stainless steel brake lines and Ferodo DS pads

so that´s a small lookaround, hope I´ll fit here to all the overboosties with my vaccuum cleaner

 

Its strange to see a Merlot with manual mirrors.

It´s a 1.6
And there´s more: The whole interieur is a bit brighter than the Miata Merlot.
Also the seats are different (MKII style) and I think the original steering wheel is different to the US one like the carpet and the door pads.

 

I´m sorry, but german hedgecutting is as precise and as perfect, as our railway timetable

Well..I´ve ordered a Fuji Racing 1.6 Base Kit and try to get it running with a Pipercross airbox connected to the JR CAI. I have to get the TPS running in the MS, but not before the car is running well.

 

Nice color. The rims fit the car well.
