Default hello from washington

hey everybody, thought i'd introduce myself.

My ride is a 92 Classic red Miata. I bought the car about 3 weeks ago, and have started fixing all the little problems. Window regulator, changing headlights...etc. I've also got my eye on a set of sportmax 002 15" wheels.

This is my first miata, and so far i love driving it. I'm here for the same reason everyone else is, learn about turbo's. I've been spending most of my free time here reading posts about turbo'ing my miata. My goal is a fast realiable, weekend warrior. Looking to make somewhere between 6-9 psi. I may use the car for the occasional auto x. But mostly will be used on the backroads on whidbey island where i live.

Anyway sorry for no pics.

Other rides...02 Tacoma dbl cab 4x4 w/ lift

Awesome, another NW'er! Welcome. Click on "user CP" in the upper left corner and enter your location. Unless we're viewing this thread we, the other NW'er, might not know or remember that you're from around here and might not offer our help. You seem to be doing the right thing by searching and reading around the site, and using punctuation, thank you for that. Now let's see some pics! Wife/GF/miata, doesn't matter.

thanks, for the welcome. I'll be taking some pics tomorrow. I bought those sportmax wheels today, so i will take pics after they're on. Although the car may look wierd with these wheels until I lower it....

I'll fill in that info you told me to also.

Welcome to the forum, I'm sorry you went with sportmaxes as I am not a fan of the zero offset or weight.
They'll work for now though, to each his own. Good luck with the build, enjoy the mass amount of information here.

ya i'm reading about all that i will have to do to make them fit. I really like the look though, and I got them for 300$ with Toyo Proxy's with only 200 miles on them... So i'm happy with the deal i got.

Proxxes 4's? Those rule! My all time favorite tire. Mostly because I was made fun of so much because I had a dedicated track car with all seasons. I still beat people though. Let's see those pics!
