I am six foot flat, my brother is six three. We are both very comfortable in my 94 NA.
You will find plenty of resources on here and at other forums to make your driving experience as pleasurable as possible. I say go for it. The only thing you will regret is the new addiction you might pick up =)
Oh, and welcome!

There are quite a few modifications you can make for zero money to the cockpit so you'll fit with acceptable results. For impressive results, you'll need an aftermarket seat.
Steering column mod.
Door arm rest removal.
Parking brake mod.
Dead pedal.
Proper roll-bar selection.
Seat foam shaving.
Package shelf removal.
Seat rail mods and/or hump removal.
