Hey! Noob in Rising Sun, MD
I bought a 1992 almost a year ago and use it as a daily driver. It met the criteria: convertable, FUN to drive, economical and reliable. Oh and it was easy on the wallet since my teenage son had just blown the engine in my Saab 9.5 Aero!
Since it is stock except for a few minor adds that came with it:
* chrome sport bar (eventually to be swapped for a real roll ball),
* 17" Konig Verdicts (nice looking but anchors for sure and For Sale! 6ULs
are on my wish list),
* front shock tower brace
I decided to just drive it and enjoy it. Which I have done - it had 98,000 miles on it when I got it just after Thanksgiving last year as of today it has 129,000+!
Been stalking various miata forums, joined Chesapeake Area Roadsters and just having fun with the car but now it's time to make it mine...

Not close, I'm in Pasadena. One of our customers is up there though. I'm about done with the build. Drove it a few miles and decided to go with a bigger Turbo and swap over to vbands so I'm tearing it all apart again. After reading about turbos and down pipes falling off under heavy track use I decided to re- think what I was doing.
