I've had this forum account for a while and have never been very active. I used to participate in a Facebook groups, and I was a mod on a major Miata group as well. But, quite a while back I got out the the Facebook. I tried getting into a Miata discord. It wasn't for me.
But, I'm "old". BBSs is where I started, and these forums are a evolution of that. Hopefully chating with ya'all will scratch that itch!
I currently own 2 Miatas. My track car is a 2000 Evolution Orange. It has a built BP4W in it. I have started a build thread. Its a long story. I also own a 2000 Special Edition. It only has a few minor things done to it. Header. Mostly maintenance types of things and restoration.
Welcome man! Psyched you decided to join us here, and that orange car is beautiful! Well both of them are actually, but I really like the aggression of the orange one with the stock nb1 bumper. As I get older I really appreciate a subtle but capable car like that.
Psyched to follow your k20 build. Sad the BP wasn't able to do it for you, mines been very reliable for my track car, but there's probably some wood I should go knock on right now or something after saying that.

I'm not the most lucky guy out there!! The built motor was nothing but problems honestly. I got it way to early in my car building journey. If I knew then what I know now right?
The thing I am most bummed about is the k24 is not going to sound as good as the built BP. With the big cams and valves she sounded beastly. On the other hand, its going to be so nice to not have to be so stressed about blowing up the motor so much.
