Welcome. Looks like were gathering a few turbos around the Charlotte area. We should arrange something sometime somewhere... Ive been tempted to get on a dyno sometime.

Where you at ZABAC> get a group dyno run together when your back up and running.

Nice first post... just what we're lookin' for round'ere. Just two more little things... put "Charlotte NC" in your location in your profile... and put "'94-red, Exedy Stg1, Enthuza 3", BEGi"S"-on order" in your signature.

Man that's great to find a few more in town, my kit probably won't be installed until September but after that I would love to get it dyno'd. Let me know when I can see your cars.

Thanks samnavy for the profile tips, looks like I got it. It's good to meet you I can't tell you how many questions I've had thus far and many were answered by posts and replies by you. I'm sure during and after my install I'll have allot of questions so thanks in advance.

Welcome, glad to see more people from around here.

Jedduh01-I'll see what I can do, maybe in October or so, I doubt I'll be sorted before then as I am sure i will have lots of little surprises once I am done with everything.
I think I may be able to talk to a friend of mine in Greensboro to set something up for us, for around $100 for 4-5 pulls. Hows that sound? It's an hour drive, but we can get a lot of people in on it and save some money. Oh ****, here I go again...

Larry, once we are closer to september and your vacation time, make sure to remind us as some of us may be able to come by and help you out.

Also, do you do any autocrossing?

Man! thanks for the offer I'll definitely do that. I'm trying to be ultra conservative in this whole process by giving myself allot of time. I should have the kit in the next week or two and I'll start preparing parts like putting studs in the manifold and turbo, reading over the instructions and laying out parts for each step, making sure I have all my tools in order and doing some dry runs and then if I had a few experienced hands under the hood would be icing on the cake. I'll even spring for pizza and your choice of drink on the days were working on it.

I haven't done any autocross but would like to try it. I'm not sure the rules but I didn't think you could autocross with a turbo charged miata.

Thanks, looking forward to getting it installed once its finished I'll post some pics. I forgot to add that I have a valve cover out being powder coated fire red and hope to have it by the end of this week. I have a leaking CAS O-ring and valve cover gasket and thought while replacing them why not give her a makeover at the same time.

You can auto-x a trubo Miata, you will be in SM2 class, it's a real fun class!!!
When you are doing your install just let us know, i am sure if people are not busy they will show up...besides, I have been dying to turb a wrench lately, my car is 80 miles away hibernating (i know it's summer).

When you replace your valve cover, don't forget the drops of silicone along the camshaft humps. Black RTV (hi-temp) silicone works best.

Thanks Sam for tip and link I have Keiths first book that states to put silicone sealant on the corners before installing the cover but I think I like the details of the link you sent better. I'll make sure to pick up the black RTV.
