Default Hi from England

Hi

My name's Mike and im an alcoh... ****, wrong forum!

So a little about me. Im 23, im an aircraft engineer and I love cars!

My car history is as follows:
Vauxhall Astra (First car. Slow. Crap)
Seat Ibiza FR TDI (Fast at the time)
RX8 231 (Amazing handling, **** gas mileage)
Seat Leon Cupra R 1.8 20vT (Tuned to 255 bhp. Quick!)
Honda Civic (EP3) Type R (Good fwd handling. Not fast enough)

And now I drive a 99 JDM 10AE and I have some parts sat in my garage waiting to be fitted. Currently I have a TD04H-13C (Baby) turbo, a stainless xs power tubular manifold (probably turd) some aluminium and silicone pipes/hoses and a random ford intercooler. As well as a TR Lane roll bar...

Ive got my feelers out for a Megasquirt, WB02 and some yellow RX8 injectors and maybe other goodies too!

Im here for the wealth of information mainly.

This wont be the last you hear from me!

Cheers, Mike.

Welcome.
Great looking 10AE.

Throw the crappy ebay manifold in the trash and get a proper one. Good luck

So, are ya a mick named Mike? I'm a mick named Mick! Bloody Scots Irish...
That's a nice looking 10AE! However, when your pictures were developed, they had the nagatives turned wrong, which makes everything look backwards.
When ya get the turbo on it, it will be like a whole new car.

Nah that's definately the right way around, after all it's from the land of the rising sun! #499 FTW!
Yeah about the crappy eBay manifold. I'll see how it goes and replace it when(!) it cracks with something more robust! I've still got a megasquirt and wideband to purchase plus probably other random parts!
I'm a Mikes Micks Mike Mike Mick, I hope that helps?
Yeah fingers crossed! Heaps of fun to drive, just wayyy too slow and doesn't sound half as good as the EP3 or RX8!
